Dicks sounds like a safe choice, but don't forget that nowadays the malls offer a gift certificate that is good for the entire mall.  Just an idea.

Hi Taps,

It is good hearing from you, and thanks for your kind words on my post. It helps to hear what reads well.  Best to you and if I ever get this camera of mine fixed I will send a picture of the Nativity.

Fondly, Lou

Digital Clock,

Sad to say, I knocked it off the bedside table and broke the alarm. It tells time, but will not alarm.. Hum maybe Santa will bring me one. Thanks.

Lou, I'd suggest a digital clock..if you're a light sleeper like me, no

amount of stuffing in the back will help...

Hang in there.....

You could get a digital clock...or

count the ticks till you fall asleep. That's what I do and I rarely get past 50.

Take care.

What a great post, Cameraeye. It has a little bit of everything in it and all of them interesting. Most of all, I would love to see your Nativity Stable. That is my favorite thing about Christmas. I love a creche of any size and shape and made from anything and everything. The big ones with real live animals are especially nice, but I love the tiny ones too that sit on a mantel or elsewhere.    About the loud clock, if you can tough it out a night or two, soon you will become acclimated to it and won't even notice the loud tick tock.
