my family is big on making gifts. i also make a point of buying gifts
throughout the year when i see "the perfect gift" as opposed to going shopping, buying off the rack because it's product made for christmas retail.

You are so right. What a great post! I hope lots of people will have this
thought in their hearts during the Christmas period. I think so many people forget the main reason why we should celebrate this day. I just want to be with my family and enjoy and be grateful for what I have. And then teach my children why we celebrate Christmas. What an eye opener. Thank you
