Thanks!

Has anyone heard of the new trend of having "turduckin" for Thanksgiving? Its where you stuff a duck inside of a turkey, and a chicken inside of the duck. I have no idea where this tradiation began or how, but its gross!

Kasthu, I vaguely remember Grand Central Station in NYC, from the trip

took back east in 1987 (or was it 1988?).  It's a whole different world, mentality and time frame there than the Pacific Northwest, that's for sure.  Seattleites are considered "nice" in a passive-aggressive way.  I am getting to the point where I think I'd almost prefer outright, in-your-face New York style rudeness, like the cab driver who laughed at my Oregon accent.

There's an energy there, for sure.

Have a great Thanksgiving (and yeah, not everybody has turkey, so why call it turkey day?  Neither my boyfriend, nor I like turkey so I'm fixing prime rib).  Enjoy!

I hate it when people call it turkey day, too.  Thanksgiving is not about the food we eat...It's about being thankful for every person and everything we have in our lives.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your friends and family...

I wish you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving ...............
I hate it when people call it Turkey day, too.  One year, I opened my turkey and it was rotten!  From then on, I made a candied ham.
