I know this is crazy, but see if you can find a rusty nail.
Put it in the dirt. It might help. Also, you might be able to find a small packet of plant food at a florist. you know the one they give out to people when the buy a bouquet of cut flowers. they usually staple it to the paper they wrap the flowers in. Mix that with water and sprinkle that on your plant. I hope she feels better soon. In the meantime, Happy thanksgiving to you and yours.
