I favor the death penalty, Blanche. I have no problem seeing child
molesters, rapists, and rapists pay with their lives for their heinous acts. I also have no problem with life imprisonment, as long as life means life and not twenty years and a third off that for "good behavior". Good behavior? Give me a fucking break. Good behavior didn't get them in; it sure as hell shouldn't get them out.

aul, the NGBRI defense, or not guilty by reason of insanity, is used
mostly in movies, and you're right. It is a long-shot, as in a snowball's chance in hell. Either way, even if he does get sentenced to a maximum security psych hospital for the criminally insane, his life won't be a bed of roses, he might actually get parole out of a prison before a psych hospital and they will tranq him like a racehorse on Roofies.
Not to say he doesn't deserve it. I'm not a fan of the death penalty, but I dont' believe in letting murderers go free either.
