Hang in there Symph!
He sounds like a tough little guy, too, and he knows you're helping him. It's hard to get through pain, though. Hang in there, and take care!
Wish I could wave a wand, too, but hey...

I am sure you have already asked
but if you haven't maybe ask the doctor about something preventative so he can avoid this completely.

Appleworks is a healer. Have you asked him for help? He has worked wonders with my boys on more than one occasion.

Hi Symphony
Poor Jamie - there's nothing worse than helpless suffering, is there? Still,as he grows older he'll adjust to it and hopefully it will get milder. Soon he'll understand that you're trying to help him - he probably already does.

I have just come across your comments by chance. I can send lots of information on Aloe Vera to anyone who's interested. Email, if you prefer.
p.s. I shan't offer to sell you any! LOL

Aloe vera is a colorless or white cream. Should be available at pharmacies. Apply to clean skin liberally. Should work from day one. Remember how ariel used to recommend it too? It has healed all our
burns emergencies, which, in our opinions, are much more critical than eczema.

Poor Jamie, I hope he outgrows that terrible skin disease. My husband, as a child, had eczema on his tongue. He outgrew it. His tongue is pitted from having it, but it's gone. I can't tell you when it went away, but I know it did. I hate to see your baby suffer with it, Symphony. I know you're a good mom and are taking care of it.

The poor little one!
Sounds like Jamie is at the age where he doesn't understand you're doing it to take the pain away. I feel for him.

Poor baby...both of you. It's hard to be seen as the one who is hurting him
when in truth, you are the one who is helping him. Sarah's flared up for a bit, but hers is very mild compared to Jamie's, and we got it right under control. I would definitely search for an internal remedy. I will search, actually, I'll google for you and tell you if I find anything useful.
Put your heads, together Bloggers, and help out! Ask around if you know anyone knowledgable in this area....for Symphony!

Ask the doctor about what's better for Jamie to eat, if you avoid giving
something which boost the skin health might help. I pray for you
