Success -
You are going to hell, just like the rest of us. I've got reservations, with extra room, if you don't want to wait in line. . .

"Do people in churches find it all dreadfully convenient that god changes the rules to conform with what people want?" I think it's the other awy round. With the descending of God's grace when one can become a receptacle, and in accepting all as good, be it even bad outwardly, does man feel Benediction.

SuccessWarrior - it is convenient, though many will insist that it never

happens.

Success Warrior, I doubt you are going to hell
I think you are too smart to let that happen! faholo

Stuff like this happens all the time
and goes against the "god never changes" mantra.

You hit on something by implication that happened after the Second Vatican Council. All of a sudden, the rules of confession changed, and the Mass was said in English with the priest facing the people. Catholics were thrown, causing more division than is widely known. There are even sects out there that don't believe that any of the Popes elected since the one that convoked Vatican II was validly elected.
