Bhaskar.ing, Thanks. I love LeCarre and have read his entire portfolio, at
least once.  Most of it twice, and I've read Tailor of Panama twelve times.  Lol

Bhaskar.ing, As I recall, the main character of that book was pretending
fit in with the journalists in India during the run up to the Vietnam War.  Got involved in a surreptitious assignment, carried out a defensive or offensive maneuver for  Queen and Country, then fell into disrepute, was disavowed by his employers, and died in disgrace.  Am I close? Typical LeCarre.  Lol

Kingmi
I have found this very interesting. I think you have read John Le Carre's, The Honourable Shoolboy, on a similar subject. I'll pick this book you mention if I can.

TAPS, it is a wonder how a master novelist can write so many books and
Stick to his code, and still be creative . This one is less "chase scene" tension, and more cerebral.

kingmi, It sounds like a good page-turner.   I can really get caught up in one like that.  I've made note of the title.
