Mr T jumped the cue... Yes, I have 3 tattoos and I will still post them

on my blog.  They are also not so in your face tattoos and mostly in places where I can hide them.  Sometimes I don't want to hide them and other days I want to.  It is strange how you can change, so when I got them done I thought of the day that I will be a wrinkly, bowlike little grandma and all my tattoos will be all shriveled up, nobody would be able to make out what they are... but then I can hide them.  But I heard there is a way to remove them.  Good to know.

I had my ear pierced
but that grew closed years ago. I have two tattoos and now regrets. The one is a very recent tattoo. Mrs T has 3 tattoos

I haven't noticed them in your pics...
but doesn't that cause problems when getting jobs... people will make snap judgements, you know!

..I've been through much of the same... with motorcycles.. leathers..
..the whole Maron Brando "THE WILD ONE" look... and today, yes... once in a while I uncover 'Baby Blu,' a 2002 Nostalic remake of the Triumph Boneville, vertical twin, motorcyle (just like the one I had when I was nineteen), put on my leather jacket and chaps, helmet with flames painted on the side... fire her up, and ride down the road... morphing into 'Johnney,' ..the 62 year old WILD ONE! ...yahoo!

I've had my lip and eyebrow pierced. I don't have the lip one anymore,
though, because I couldn't stop biting, or rotating it with my tongue... it was so addictive.

Hi Symph
I've had piercings too. Earrings in the eighties. Think they look naff now, though, plus they didn't go down well in the office in the early nineties, so peer pressure and career pressure made me take them out. Also, a nipple piercing, twice.

The wild child

grows up and realizes that she has something much more precious than rebellion...she has children of her own that will soon rebel LOL!

I have two tattoos and as for piercings there are my ears, bellybutton and the girls.  Love them all!

I have 3 in each ear, my belly button and my right nostril. Or is it left?
LOL. I took the belly button one our when I met my husband and he asked me to. He said it grossed him out. I haven't worn my nose ring in years, although I occasionally wear a tiny stud in there, just to see if I still can more than anything. It stays open. I think my belly piercing is still open too, but I wish it weren't because every once in a blue moon it gets infected. Ugh. I also have a sailor's star on my shoulder, a dragon between my shoulder blades, a salamander that is a cover up on my right hip and the female symbol on my right thigh. I love all my tattoos except the salamander. It is shot through with stretch marks. I didn't think I'd ever have kids, so it seemed like a sexy place to get a tattoo, but now....oh well. Oh, yeah, and I have a toe ring that I've been wearing on my left foot since I turned 18, so 13 years and I've probably only taken it off a couple of times. I used to mud wrestle and was afraid it'd fall off. :D

SYMPHONY...
I have my ears pieced and I wear little earrings all the time. I love them.  I have never regretted this.  I have considered getting an extremely tiny diamond earring in my nose, but Hubby says I don't want that. Maybe I do! hahahahaha  Oh I have three tiny tatoos, too. A tiny red rose, a tiny heart and a small Winnie the Pooh that my little grandchildren love.  Believe it or not, a friend of mine and I got Pooh at the same time, but hers is much, much bigger.  I'm glad mine is only little. I really believe piercing and tattooing is additive.  Whatever you decide to do, you are still a princess.  Take care..............

You do what you want woman, but a piercing on the lip is the grossest thing. I look at people and wonder how much residual food and well.. other things are on it..lol~

Symphony, you asked and I'm going to answer.  Call be an old fart if you like, but I don't like all those earrings hanging out your eyebrows and your lips and your whatevers.  Honey, why do you think they call them earrings?

Mademoiselle ....LOL.

I am glad to say I have not regretted any of my tattoos...ok maybe one, cos it's a stupid teddybear and a badly drawn one at that - but, I made it look better, by putting my little boys name above it......all the others are cute...

I don't like some of the piercings on people...can't help feeling sick when I see sombody with those big massive holes in their ears with one of those big massive round things...yuck.

Wow that is soooo right - TIMMYTALES ...

I think that's why I was never scared - too busy thinking about the look on faces....LOL

This time I do want it for the right reasons, I think it looks really nice - but, the pain scares me.....I need that motivation back....dammit, who can I shock...LOL

I've had my ears and bellybutton pierced, but that's about it.

I'd be too afraid of infection, or scarring, to ever get my face pierced.

However, there's this girl at school, who has a ring through her nostrils. But everyone always makes fun of her, behind her back ... well, at least I do, anyway.

Meanwhile, the problem I have with tatoos, is that they are so permanent. I just know I'd be having second thoughts, before the ink was even dry.

Like jewels in a crown,
the precious stones glittered
in the queen's round metal hat.

maybe just a little tempered.

You did your first dyes and tats to be rebellious,  to force a reaction. Now that you are older and wiser, it seems that you do not have such motivators. If you want to do it, do it for you
