There is a big difference (at least in my opinion) between oversight, which is what the Dems are talking about in the example you give, and what Bush is doing by trying to push through appointments.
I am not really saying Bush is right or wrong, just that he is reverting back to is old ways. Trust me, don't be too surprised if down the road I end up having a blog that says the same about the Dems...honestly Polosi's attempt to get Murtha as majority leader almost caused me to write one now.

And all of the pronouncements being bandied about by the LIBDem leadership on how "they are in charge" and the "changes we are going to make" or the "hearings and investigations" we will start............are all graciously made of olive branches intended to promote the same spirit of bipartiaianship mentioned, ever so briefly, by this bunch?
