Here's to many happy mornings and the oats that make them happen!

Dandell, I didn't know about them until last week

My wife heard about them so I thought I would give them a try.  I'm not sure how to explain them.  They do have a different texture than rolled oats.  To me, it seems like they are chewy compared to rolled oats.

Welcome to my fitness blog.

forgive me, but i don't know what steel cut oats are...

is that similar to irish oatmeal, coarse and sort of nutty? (not unlike some people I know!)

this is the first time i've visited this blog and as a former marathoner (i had to quit running, i wore down the cartilage in my knee!), but i enjoy this. a very good blog and fun to read.

From my brother.

But here's a good site for some basic info.  The stop for the music is at the bottom of the page.

My brother and wife eat a light breakfast, medium lunch, and larger dinner.  I divide my points out over 5 meals evenly.

So that's where you get all your plan info?
From Weight Watchers?

It's just like weight watchers and
the points are determined by your current weight.

Okay, now that I'm alive again
what exactly is this point system.  Is it basically just the Weight Watchers system?  How do you determine how many points you get, etc.
