I enjoyed the diversity of your verse

As an almost Southerner with familial roots implanted far across the border and observations extending way down the compass, I offer the thought there is much unique beauty, charm and genuine warmth emanating from those parts. From natural habitats to peoples; impressive and average. But the Confederate attitude of a few is a blight of backward waving.

Ha! I knew I would offend someone from
the south. Actually, I don't find any state sour. ..I don't know any other than California well enough. I did, however, on a recent trip to the southm find that some people cling very firmly to the Confederate flag, which I think is a scary symbol. My name is Sarah and I am not a Rhodes scholar.

What did you say your name was?
I am sorry you find Alabama sour. Perhaps when you work your way through adolescence you will see it is as valuable as a lemon! In my little tiny town lives two Rhodes Scholars. Nither of them goes about barefoot and at the moment neither is pregnant. You, I supposed thought all of them were in the Northeast somewhere, no.
