You know so many over look the fact that D.R. worked hard for this nation. I am grateful to him and his service. I watched a documentary on him or maybe it was something like Dateline or whatever anyway...at his age I couldn't imagine where the man got his energy. I also was amazed that the man went to work so early and home so late...he was definitely a work horse...I sure hope the next sec will be so energized.

What did you mean below, when you wrote, "thank your employee for her
service", Writer?

WriterofLight - Ah, the New York Times' Judy Miller, who plugged for the
... Republicans, and Chalibi right up until she was fired, after having her work in question for nearly 2 years?

Blogflogger, thank your employee for serving, please!
As for choice vs. necessity, would you have rather gambled that Saddam wasn't within a year of nuclear arms as the New York Times (speaking of sources other than Newsmax!) now asserts he was?

WriterofLight - Bull. This was a war of choice, NOT a war of necessity.
We could have waited until we had the necessary equipment to send with our military. This articficial sense of urgency was bogus. One of my employees who spent 1 year in Iraq spent the first 6 months in a Humvee without armor. - (BTW, perhaps siting a source other than the "right-biased" newsmax might carry a bit more clout.)

Very easy!
Here's a simple answer: His correcting the misreporting of his remarks concerning vehicle armor. Read about it at http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/2/6/151729.shtml
If he was not speaking the truth, show me how.
