Agreed, Parnell. I do not condone arrogant patriotism or militant
nationalism, but I do believe that those who have fought or served in the armed serivices deserve recognition for that service, that many of them served for all the right reasons, even as their government may have, depending on the conflict, acted irresponsibly.
