All one needs to do is look through my older posts here to see that believers have actively done all they could by calling me names and insulting my intelligence in order to push me into silence.  I would challenge you to go and find where I have done this to believers.  I do go and correct believers when they go from talking about their personal faith into spreading lies and misinformation.  But to correct someone when they say something that is not true, is not the same thing as trying to silence them.  Also, putting out questions that are made to inspiring thinking and created debate also does not count as trying to silence anyone.

And finally, I am well aware that at times I have 'thrown my own stones' and would never once pretend that I am somehow better than anyone else over such a thing.  We all do it.  I just do not pretend that I am more righteous about it.

Important messages need to be repeated over and over
That's just the way it is and this message is going to continue to grow so they better get used to it.

I don't think my son wants to silence anyone.

just present valid points.

problem is, this incenses many christians.

and then I have ready a plethora of invalidities spouted by Christians.  Do we let those stand without presenting an alternative viewpoint.  I think not.

That is what my son is doing.

KookaLives, you are most welcome to state what you believe;
however, don't you think your attitude toward Christians is the true throwing of stones!   We are not out to silence you, but aren't you out to silence us!

actually that's a ploy to quell opposition.
ploys like that are used when one's views are on shaky ground.
