I think the travel there - from Australia to California
would be all right, to get there almost before you leave. But the trip back will be really weird -- losing almost two days... Or is that the reverse? In any case, I hope you enjoy the flights, the time away and the return home. :)

Rob, what if you end up in yesterday and think you need to go to the
airport again. Then you'll jump on another plane, go back another day and think....
