Jeanniezer0, at least we're aware of the need to make the distinction.
I know soooooo many people who don't seem to get the very basic rules of their native language, spoken or written. LOL

Its a real problem when it's words aren't right
What's the rule?? I panic every time I come to an "its" in my own writing wondering what takes precedence?? possession or contraction?

Schatz
I generally go over a piece again and again till I am satisfied that there are no mistakes that I know of. Particularly, I liked the way you've said, "Man, eating my own words for breakfast gives me a stomach ache". This is worth remembering.

That's precisely why I never go back and look at my old writings.
Manon said I don't seem to like to read novels very much.
"I guess you're not an 'afictionado'," she said.
Poor Manon. For all her reading,
she doesn't even know the right word.
