Yep, there's a song called "Hardheaded Woman" I think. If not, there
should be.  You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.  Everybody either learns or doesn't, you can't force their eyes open. That was a life lesson for me, too, and I'm much happier now that I got that.

well we tried now we know it was a waste of energy, but she will have to find out on her own

We tried because we thought she was worth the trouble, but guess she wants to stumble around in the dark and not have the chance at true love from some one who can give it to her

Lustorlove, honestly I think you'd be wasting your breath. People will hear
what they want to hear and do what they want to do. You know what? You can't stop them or change them. It's all about changing ourselves, because that is the full time job, I'm working on.

Alot of people dont want to know the truth.

They want to live in darkness. I think we should try to help them out. But once we show them the light and the truth and they refuse to come out of darkness, there isn't too much we can do.

Each person has to live their own life. Even if they make many mistakes. Grossly stupid mistakes. They still have a right to do that - That's my opinion.

Honesty is the best policy

but im my case, I'm honest enough to say...

I'm not smart enough to know what's best for you, I don't even know what's best for me.

Some people wouldn't know honesty if it slapped them in the face!

I think one should be friends for a good long time before one decides to be an official girl friend or boy friend (speaking of young singles, you know).  Then it's more a matter of marriage decision, and not one that a person makes often.

in all of my years
honesty in this type of situation is not the bext policy.  i can name 4 or 5 times that i have been involved in these things and they always got mad at me for saying something.  now i always tell people just to follow their heart and instincts - nothing else.
