Mason,

Pushups! I was never in the army, but several of my phys-ed teachers over the years must have been - and they passed their experience on to us! Any misbehavior was punished by twenty pushups!

And I had a buddy at the university who didn't look particularly strong, but he could do twenty on one arm, wowing all the girls at parties...

I wish the military would update their exercise regimen a little.

I mean, push-ups and jumping jacks are fine and all. But how about tossing in a little tae bo? Or, some jazzercise?

If they ever come up with a swashbuckling school,
I think one of the courses should be:
Laughing, Then Jumping Off Something.

Mason I do ten most days EASY-PEASY; will work on 20 & get back 2 ya. With
rifles over my head, I have never held a rifle or worked a gun; my uncle used a shotgun for hunting in Africa but rarely did he let us even touch it. I will practice holding a peace sign over my head for 15 minutes...OK (Smile, Shalom from Neil)./

Hi TAPS!
...yes, the gear changes from spears to laser guided missles... but the hell of the war is the same... where the metal meets the meat... thanks for dropping by...

MasonGarrett, Its very interesting looking at the difference in the gear than what you see now in the news pics of Iraq.  Time changes a lot of things.
