This final chapter of the Chronicles, along with the other two dreams

reminds me of similar stories I’ve read in mythology; Greek mythology being quite similar to Norse mythology.

You’ve applied the traditions & culture of the Vikings in your poetry, and stories as self-defining characteristics a number of times; The Sons of Odin: The Saga of the Volsungs is such an account of the unusual birth of a superhero child. He faces the ‘underworld’ (dark creatures of the forest) as a kind of ritualistic rite of passage or initiation into manhood thereby gaining supernatural powers. Even the boy in the tree watching the activity below (in part II), is significant of rituals in this Saga depicted by Kings sitting atop mounds that gave them magical powers.

Off the subject a moment; I enjoy reading mythology particularly because it seems the stories, in many ways are symbolic of Genesis, the birth of Christ, the resurrection, Revelations, etc. I was intrigued when I first started reading mythology to find the similarities from different cultural perspectives being that of the same ‘biblical’ stories

In your post regarding ‘mating season’ or from a majority of your poems for instance; you seem to be bringing your questions, ideas, your dreams and visions from an innate, cellular level; In my opinion, the most inspirational and projectable level a writer can write from.

Someone of wisdom, who I admire once told me; "If you want to truly understand yourself, your dreams & your hearts desires, return to your childhood, who you were before the world sought to destroy you. It's there you'll find your truth".

I’m anxiously awaiting something along the lines of; The Sagas of Alf, the Viking Boy! lol…..good work. I enjoy your writing very much.
