That's really terrible. I don't know if you could really do anything about
it, but hopefully you didn't lose too much money (even though, that doesn't make the situation any better.)

Tell her...through the e-bay staff if you have to
that you will remove the negitive feedback after she sends your money back....Then don't do it. See how she likes being ignored.

I know that is mean but sounds like she deserves it.

Don't wait too long....there's a time limit. I got taken for about $125
at Christmas one year. It was my own gift that I got shafted out of. GRRRRRR!!! The folks at eBay gave me her phone number and I called and left a lot of messages, bad feedback, the whole nine. She kept me waiting with excuses and promises and more excuses for sooooo long that the time ran out to get the $$ back. Bad, bad ebayer!!!

Contact Paypal or Ebay and try and talk to a higher person involved...
Hope you come right. Hope it wasn't too much money?

I think you can, in fact, get some redress through EBay.
Check with them, and check with others who do business on E Bay -- I think Gomedome does some stuff on there, and he's a pretty savvy guy.

Symphony,
Yes, you absolutely should contact ebay. This woman's conduct is completely inappropriate and should they find she has done this to more than one person, she will no longer be allowed to sell through them.
My roommate's sister went through this same thing, and I gave her the same advice.
Please keep me posted...

that's terrible...
I bought a memory card for my 14-year-old cousin from a guy with over 1000 positive feedbacks. When we got it it didn't work and the guy won't reply to my emails. I can't exactly as my little cousin for £30 for a broken bit of plastic. eBay is great when it works, but terrible when it doesn't. I think you might be protected under PayPal, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Check the PayPal website.

CONTACT PAYPAL ABOUT GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK
I believe they have a system set up for that.
Once you leave negative feedback, any chance of getting your money back is killed because you have already punished them... there is not worse threat.

Call Judge Judy!
I've seen cases like this on one of those court shows. If nothing else you'll get paid for appearing on the show. :)

Good luck...someone stole my ID info and ordered a $24,000 bus on
Ebay and I found out I won the bid! HUH? Just as I was going to tell them to take their bus and shove it, someone outbid "me." Still, I had no way of reaching anyone at Ebay personally...I tried...I finally reported the incident and since it was a matter of fraud and identify theft, my account was closed. I haven't been on Ebay since.
