He just gave a sort of apology........
"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform and I personally apologize to any service member, family member or American who was offended," Kerry said in a statement.
I guess you can call that an apology.....though it could be intrepeted as people were too stupid to understand his words and drew the wrong conclusions.......
What would have been wrong with......"I was wrong and I am sorry it offended anyone. I made an error and I do regret it happening."

It is a hateful attitude and ego problem that causes mis-speak. There is a scripture (I am paraphrasing it) Out of the heart man speaks. That I believe.

Boy this has turned into a three ring circus hasn't it? No wonder other dems are wanting to "keep a distance" from him. That list grows by the hour. He is so out of control. I did hear he said it was a "botched" joke...yeah right...the joke is on him. Shame should be too!
