Your right I didn't see your statement.
And although you may feel that I am back pedaling this is certainly not the case. You as a woman, maybe even of ethnic decent I'm sure have seen much discrimination. I as a black and gay man have as well. I have also through out life seen many fight the cause with the agression, but then on the same token, diplomacy needed to make a point. Then I have seen others do some real distructive things in what they thought was the "Cause". Now joke it was not,and no matter what you may feel about me,I give just as much respect as do I contra,(And I can sometimes have a big mouth). But I've been through enough,(I think),to back it up.
I won't bother anymore.

Mademoiselle,
Surely you jest about the Great Pumpkin? It is the true story of Halloween. We watch it year round in this house. (OY, I am not kidding)
Hope you had a great Halloween and got lost in a pumpkin patch. :))

Blanche, life is good. I feel sometimes like I may burst from the joy of it
I feel fortunate, even though the opposite has to be true sometimes. I think to feel this level of happiness, we also fall prey to the albatross of sadness that can pull us under without warning. I wouldn't give it up for anything though.

It's a gift.

I think it's really sad that, over time, the true meaning of Halloween has been almost completely forgotten.
I mean, it's not supposed to just be about, you know, eating a lot of chocolate candy or painting Halloween eggs.
It's about the pilgrims achieving a peaceful settlement with the indians!
I've learned there are three things
you don't discuss with people:
religion, politics,
and the Great Pumpkin.

Schatz, it's a good thing we both figured out how to appreciate a good
thing before it's gone. Your situation's different than mine, I've been single more years than not, but that epiphany of waking up and realizing that this is a really good guy who deserves to be treated better than he has, that's not new to me.
BTW, that song is so sweet, you are one lucky woman. But its not all luck, either, you work at it, too. We work at being good to each other, and it's not always easy, but it's always worth it. It is good to finally find the happiness you dreamed of, isn't it? Life is good!
