To sticklers it is! Nice to meet you, Dylan Valente!

This does not make you a bad person.

My pet peeve is when someone uses it's as a possessive, as in "belonging to it," when it's is only a contraction for "it is."

I can understand why people make the mistake, but it still irks me.

Here's to being a stickler!

YES!!
You got it. Glad to see you looking so approachable and honest. LOL I'm a midwesterner. I try not to be, but I think I type people into categories according to location. I put up a new member picture in response to yours...a similar one, recently taken, of me looking pretty unguarded. It speaks volumes about our personalities, I think, when we let people see us unposed. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy Halloween, Blanche.

LOL< that is good to know how you pictured me, I kind of know the kind of
blond you're talking about, very thin and "intellectual"-looking, right?

I feel you Blanche. And I think the 'on a roll' really good writing is way
WAY better than the best use of punctuation and grammar. I wasn't anywhere near talking about you anyway, I don't pick out one or two errors in blogs, I am talking about shot through and hard to read. I said before and I'll reitterate: I'll take interesting and laden with mistakes over dull and perfect any day. Have a wonderful night, and thanks for sharing the pic with us. I love seeing the bloggers I picture. I have pictured you as a blonde with sharpish features. The real you is so much better. :) (;

I'll try to slow down, but it's hard, I get on a roll, Schatz.

I try so hard not to be neurotic, but it seems to make me more so.
I don't like to nitpick, because I do make mistakes myself. Yes, bloggers, come one and all, Schatz makes a startling admission: She's not the pinnacle of perfection she has been alluding to all along!! LOL I have frequently found that I type 'fro' instead of 'for'. I don't know how to stop it, as it seems to be a finger thing and not a spelling thing. I just try to be aware of it. Sometimes 'teh' sneaks in, too. I guess I must think faster than my fingers work.

Schatz, for some weird reason, when my fingers are flying across the keys

to get some thought down, I accidentally use homonyms, even though I know better: like "there" and "their", it's like my brain doesn't sort them out fast enough.  But I get your point (sometimes I say you're, when I mean your and vice versa).  I r a college grad=ew=ate, but still it happens.

I try to clean up my posts.  I agree about 'alot", that one puzzles me, it's two separate words. I usually don't make that mistake.  However, still, reading it does bug me, so maybe I should clean up my act for my readers' sake.
