Y, we are headed for some tough times ahead
And people are going to need to learn to think for themselves and take action.  If people keep taking what the media feeds them while sitting on the couch, we will all be lead to slaughter.

SuccessWarrior, I'm glad to have read your piece.FoundingFathers agree
I wish folks who use time & energy learning dates and facts/coincidences between the assassinations of JFK and Lincoln, would truly read the Faounding Fathers and their words. They feared big business, organized religion, and the strong exploting the weak ...hence checks and balances, separation of State and Church, and advice to make democracy real through education and a free press. We have created a nation ow that loves wide open competition for business, fewer rights for labor and unions, and fewer religions, media competition and decreasing liberties.

Faholo, you're first sentence echoes what I have said before
Religions are trying to perpetuate themselves rather than make people into better people.  Do you think they do that so that they will be around to help people?

In my church, a Catholic church we are focusing on prayer to
discern God's will for each family as we pray our way through a two month long fund raising experience to create an endowment to preserve our parish into the future. We begin 168 hours of prayer tomorrow with each family praying for their family and other families of the parish. Every fifteen minutes for 168 hours a family begins prayer for others. I think we are focusing on God's will and not on anything else. As the Prayer Leader I have been attacked by Satan for days and he will no doubt keep it up. But my God is stronger than he is! God bless  faholo
