Thanks Blanche and Mike.
We have cleared up an important transatlantic misunderstanding! And yes, you can't go wrong with pandas, can you? They're just so lovable. Apart, that is, from when one is sitting on you and... well, yes, perhaps we should move on and get that thought out of our heads...

Hi guys...
Shot by a panda? Well, I didn't think of that - my imagination's not that good. I'll have to try better next time, Blanche! MC is right...I did wonder if 'shat' would be understood by our Atlantic cousins. So what is the past participle over there for the slang version of defecation beginning with 'sh' and ending in 't'? There are some differences. You tend to say, 'I dove' and we say 'I dived'. I'll leave it there for now to give you a chance to reply - but be quick. My bed is calling in an irresisitible way....zzzzz

OMG, Marieclaire you are right, my Freudian slip is showing, woops!
I still like my image of a panda in a Fedora though. I wonder what Tony will think?

Tonyzonit, "Shot by a panda", lol, I like that oen. A fate, of death by
panda. "He wore a fedora, dressed in black and white, the gunslinging panda. I didn't see him coming, didn't have time to duck before he took his best shot. I gasped my last, and thought, 'well, at least I don't have to look at Brittany's naked bum anymore". End of story.
LOL, I agree with you, history and literature give a much broader perspective. We've been down this road, and the Greeks and Shakespeare have all said, there is nothing new under the sun. Alas, poor Yorick!

hey hey looks I am first here too!
I love gossip mags, sorry Tony. I am very shallow, deep down. Ok, I read them at the queue at the supermarket. I read trash for free. I watch the French news bulletin, the only thing worth watching...(I like the panda line...colourful language dear).
