This sounds like a great time to write poetry
the kind of non-rhyming, non-chiming stuff of image and vision that makes no more sense than a dream half-remembered. You can edit later, when the kidneys are working and the brain is drained of chemical backflow...

hey hey look who is here! bonsoir Ariala.
Blanche, I survived the friendly visit to the poke doctor, not even a shred of pain to my surprise. The lady doctor was really nice! phew, one job done.

and I am slowly learning the digital camera, technophobe that I am, too.
I finally learned how to resize and post the picture of myself, but my next lesson is to get the photo directly off the camera, instead of scanning from a print. I am very slow to learn too, too much mental blockage and fear.

thanks Blanche bye for now. it's been a pleasure.

yes this place is truly unique I tried other blogs, but they are a complete
bore. this is very interactive which is probably why it is so successful because we can see everyone's comments at once. an open forum with a purpose perhaps.
Sorry I really must go and get this horrible thing over with...

Bye, MC, it's been fun, I look forward to chatting again.
(and I dont envy you this chore, but better to get it done than not, I suppose).

For the most part, it's pretty much good, clean fun, I agree,
we sometimes get a little racy and a little naughty, but I am repulsed by the grossly sexual and venal, just a what is the French word,  soupcon?  (I have no idea how to do the little squiggly "c" ).

posted by Blanche. on October 31, 2006 at 5:35 PM | link to this | reply

no, I am still trying to download photos here without stuffing it up.
I am a bit slow when it comes to things like that , may be it is a mental block or worse i don't know. looks like I have to go now. Shame, I will speak to you again no doubt.

Funny how that works, MC, I was very surprised to end up where I did.
in my little journal, writing bits and bobs, as Dave calls his Junk store blog.

posted by Blanche. on October 31, 2006 at 5:33 PM | link to this | reply

yes I have had some gigantic laughs at dave's place too.
I wish I could keep some of the comments but there are just too many, so I save the best ones on occasion. it is mostly good clean fun which is great.

I don't really know, I know the clock that I have on the bottom of my
screen is my computer's time, which is set to Pacific Daylight time, or local time.  I like the clock idea that people have started, but I have no idea how to do that. Do you?

posted by Blanche. on October 31, 2006 at 5:31 PM | link to this | reply

I dont worry about the click too much.
my only incentive is to remain in the top 5 in the poetry blog. for my ego's sake, pathetic I know. My other blogs I could not care less, I'll never be a journalist, I am far too ignorant and illogical for that. I don't mind.

I've increased my speed, but not the accuracy, MC, I know I annoy some with
my typos, but when I am on a roll, I really cannot slow down, that's the beauty of this place, everything helter skelter and pell mell, especially when Dave is on, he makes me almost fall off my chair laughing sometimes.

are on the same clock as blog it time?
it is just so confusing remembering everybody's clock time.

posted by marieclaire66 on October 31, 2006 at 5:29 PM | link to this | reply

I know it's one click, like one vote per blogger, but I thought you still
a piece of my or others' distribution each and every time I click.  I never did figure that out.  The part about not rising the rank or being able to manipulate it, many have speculated on, and I really have no idea, I wonder if anyone does.

as I was saying I learnt heaps at blogit, from interacting reading and writing. it is so much fun I don't get much else done at the moment and I have increased my typing speed.

I need to remember to tear myself away to start dinner soon as it is 5:30
and I have wanted to try a soup recipe of Strat's for several days and have not torn myself away from blogging long enough to make it, before MG, my boyfriend gets home from work at 7:30.

coffee for you Madame...?
well you only get the click once, once for the person, it only counts as one page read, they are not stupid you know...

Yikes, that does not sound fun, necessary but not fun, oh well.

blanche I am here now... but i have to leave in 10 minutes.
doctor's check up. the smear one, yuck. just routine stuff that I avoid like the plague and it usually hurts of course.

posted by marieclaire66 on October 31, 2006 at 5:24 PM | link to this | reply

MC, why not move over here, and set up a table? You should get the clicks.
and to answer the question in this post: my mind plays tricks on me all the time and mishears or misreads words, do you remember the other day in Tony's blog when you caught me, making up a story about a panda walking into a bar and shooting Tony, when he said, "shat" and not "shoot", well there's an example.  (Although, I still had fun with my story and I think Tony did too).

Food4thought,
I have burnt a few dinners this week...I see you are just as absent minded as I am. I leave the back or front door wide open when i go out... or the car door wide open... the list goes on. The worst part is my daydreaming... when I teach and the kids stare at me in disbelief and wait for me to come back down to earth. Thanks for sharing your great moments...

Marie...
My brain just gets sluggish when I am ill.  Other than that, it is always off on it's own orbit anyway.  Like the day I went to put my socks in the clothes hamper in my bathroom, only to realize I had put them in the toilet!  Face it, putting sock in a hamper does not requite a lot of mental capacity, but apparently more than I had invested.

Naorem...
My brain is impressive, shows me things that are not there but they are more interesting than the ones that are...

Mademoiselle
Thinking is bad for you, did not you know?

posted by marieclaire66 on October 27, 2006 at 1:37 PM | link to this | reply

Maybe it's not because of your kidneys ...

Maybe it's your eyes?

If you're trying to remember a happy memory,
don't think back to a time when
you were also thinking of a happy memory,
because man, how long does this go on?!
