Actually, God did speak in the New Testament,
although granted, it was not frequent. And I believe you meant ANGELS, not angles.

kooka_lives - even if the notion of Jesus serving Satan is thrown out, I
wonder why people so readily believe that he performed magical miracles?
We know today that all such things are impossible and are either trickery or sleight of hand. We also know from history that all others making claims of having done the same kinds of tricks have been dismissed as frauds. There are really only two reasons that we have people willing to present these things as actually having happened and as being miracles after so many years. These supposed miraculous events were chronicled by ancient man during a time when the majority of people alive believed that these things were possible and then have been proliferated as having actually happened by legions of followers unwilling to examine these events objectively. If Jesus did these things he either did it by hypnotizing those witnessing these events or he was an early day David Copperfield. In either case he too was a fraud just like all the others who have claimed to be capable of such things. That is if he was a willing participant to the deception. It is more likely that these things never happened, were never attempted and Jesus himself had no part in them. It is likely that these stories in their entirety were invented by his followers after the fact. We all know how his followers like to play fast and loose with the truth.
