They have excessive admnistrative overhead, they hiftndedicated funds to where they want them, and they are in abeyance of FDA safe blood guidelines.
I am less sure about this, but I seem to recall reading that they were gigged locally doing balance book magic with the value of their non-cash donations to inflate their disbursed funds figures (i.e., someone donates a truckload of plastic Elvis toothbrushes, the ARC givs them to a local children's shelter and values them at fifyt dollars apiece, then posts THAT as a cash disbursement; they then use this as part of their equation to show how high a percentage of their donations is disbursed, versus how much they use for junkets, fancy office addresses, and perks.

To Gryphon
Why don't they like the Red Cross? Do they feel the Red Cross doesn't handle the money well?

There are some people who have problems with giving to the Red Cross.
They can give money to the Salvation Army or Mennonite Relief Disaster Funds instead. Thank you for reminding us, Bunny.
