Spitfire, I have no idea what a 'yardarm" is, it's a navy thing. All I know
is that it's not cool to drink until the sun is over the yardyarm, I"m assuming its on the mast of a ship.

I have only a few shows I like to catch. Like, TAPS (Ghosthunters) Nip/Tuck, and Law and Order. That about does it for me! Well, Jay Leno's pretty good, too. Especially Jay Walking. Man, people are so dumb sometimes!

yes, Spitfire, watching tv before 7 pm is not a good sign, imho.

Oh, geez, Julia...
Actually, I wasn't impressed with it. I really wanted to like it but I just didn't. And, I think they built it up way too much before it aired. Just like that show "Dirt" with Courtney Cox coming soon to FX channel. They're really building that one up and I just think that too much hype is a slight strike against any new show

Spitfire! Hey, nice to see you. I've burnt out on the CSIs, all of them.
And David Caruso makes me gag..
..he is soooo pompous, so we never watched that one.
As for reality shows, it's like "can't you people pay real writers to come up with a real tv show or are you too f*ing cheap???" Dancing with stars, gag; Wife Swap, what sadistic mind came up with putting an evangelical Christan wife in place of a pagan Goth? I mean, doesn't reality have enough drama without inventing "reality" and whose reality is it anyway. Not mine thank God!!
Anyway, yes 57 channels and nothing on. I am tempted to leave it off most of the time. It's like drinking, I figure if I'm watching tv before 7 pm, I have a problem.
