Hi L4..the original "omen" was much better than the remake
same with "The Amityville Horror"..Hollywood is getting carried away with remakes in all the genres. Where's imagination gone? Some of us on blogit should get into screenplay writing, and no doubt some have...
I'm a movie buff as you can probably tell..will be looking forward to what you have to say about "Saw 3"...

The new Omen truly is superior to the original ... for whatever that's worth.
IMO, the only movies worth remaking are those whose scripts held promise that the initial filmmakers were unable to capture/unlock (be it due to incompetence, censorship, timing, etc.). I don't approve of pointlessly recreating established classics (such as "Psycho", for instance).
Wasn't Mishu in Waxworks? I love that little guy!
