Thank you Faholoo -- We don't always understand life -- I am
grateful to God for having lived long enough to see a grandchild and by His grace trust to live to see more!

I will never know the feelings and emotions of a parent
who must bury a child. Regardless of the age I cannot imagine any greater pain! My mother said, when my brother and sister died, "I feel like I have been violated!" As a teacher I have witnessed parents burying their children who were my students and I feel the pain of watching them suffer whenever I recall those scenes at the funeral home and gravesite! My deepest sympathy to all, who grieve for your friend!

Wiley, thank you for sharing your loss. Teachers are Heroes
and we often need to be reminded of such!

How very sad and touching for me as well my friend. My wife Joyce was a math teacher and she died of brain cancer in 2000. Losing a daughter must be very terrible as well.
