Good advice, DancesWithWords, I hardly dare write out writing goals
but I'm hovering on the brink of making the dream real. It's good to see somebody doing it, living that. My first goal is getting this newspaper blogging gig, unpaid, I've submitted writing samples for...after that, I'll take it as it comes.

I couldn't agree with you more! I always set out goals, and have gone for them. I own my own publishing company now - I just had to go for it!

Good advice -
I usually write my 5 goals for the year down in January and stick them up on the wall. To date the only one I haven't acheived is losing weight. I was just thinking about this a little earlier. I'll bet I could make a lot more money freelancing if I was doing it 'cos I had to not because I wanted to. Anyway - time to take things up a notch.
