I wasn't either.   I basically banned watching all war movies in the house when I am around, now I am adding 9-11 movies as well.  They are to deeply personal.

It is incredibly painful to watch.

Yes, I was also surprised.  I know many people simply could not go to see it and I hadn't actually intended to watch it but when Carl rented I found myself glued to the screen.

Life just got really busy!  No need to worry but it's nice to know that there are people who care enough to do so.

Taps

It was a good movie.  It is not one I would recommend simply because of the emotional toll it takes.  What I will say is it has given me a new respect for Air Traffic Controllers, while they were rendered as helpless as the rest of us they were certainly heroes that day.

I am also reminded that true heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things.

Bel, I have not been able to watch that movie.  Of course I have seen the previews on TV and that is hard enought to watch.   It is too heart-rending.

It's unfortunate that there isn't stronger standards for flying a plane - apparently that young man had not had enough training.

It kinda was like when the planes hit the towers on 9/11.  It was really scarey.  Life is scarey every day, bel.  We just never know.

Glad to see you back.  I was getting kinda worried.

The other version thats been on tv already was hard to take...maybe eventually I will get to this version (I wear my emotions on my sleeve)....

I almost picked up this DVD at Sam's the other day. I wasn't sure if it was any good. Apparently it is.

I haven't seen that movie but I want to.
I feel those people were so brave that they deserved to be honoured. It still brings tears to my eyes to think about the horror of 9-11.

I'm not ready for that movie yet.

Don't need to pick at the wound.

I missed the news has a plane hit something else?
I can't make myself watch these movies or the news -- the media never reports good things and watching the news just upsets me because there is so little if anything I can do.

Oh, I wanted to say...I haven't watched those movies because I don't
think I could handle it.

I haven't watched that movie or the "World Trade Center" one....

I was a nervous when I first heard about it...of course, I only heard that a plane had crashed into a NYC building...I didn't know the whole story.  My heart sunk.

What a sad day...I feel for his family and fans.

I was in New Orleans this time last year.

It was a fearful uncertain time...None of us knew from one day to the next if there would be a cholera or malaria epidemic coming bec of all the nasty water there. There was a complete break down of law and order.

I'd never been in a city where that had happened before. I was scared from daylight til dark every day.

Perilous times have come upon the earth and there's no escaping the future.
