Had they been nice big apples I would have gone for it.  But they were the one's in the plastic containers that you buy in the grocery store.

$2.50 for a carmel apple...
Not so bad!  There's a place near here that sells home made ice cream all summer long, and just about this time of year they come out with their carmel apples, huge apples dipped in carmel and rolled in pecans. $4. They sell them to a local supermarket, too, and if you're saving yourself a trip out to the ice cream stand, the store gets $5. I had one once, a couple years ago. Saving up for another. :)
