shams-i, Deckshack--- this is definitely Japanese...
I recognize the Hiragana and Kanji characters and got it translated... the best part is I got another email this morning. I will have this one translated. I think it is a love email...yeapee. That should be interesting. I have blocked the sender, whoever he or she is, someone is going to be heartbroken here! Sorry.

Sorry, MarieClaire66. It was probably just a Chinese or Japanese or Korean
advertisement for VIAGRA, or a dating website, or some cheap Chinese herbs -- Oh yes -- or a Rolex watch....

Hi Taps, good to "see" you in my much neglected and forgotten corner.
Somehow I have this silly picture of us bloggers chasing each other around the bush...

MarieClaire, I missed this once somehow.  How interesting.  I like the way that you tried to work out the mystery.

Azur, I did crack the email, got it translated on the net...
the translation was so poor, it made little sense. The only exciting tidbit in it was a reference to immoral desire... the mind boggles, but I will keep my imagination reined in on this one.

I really like this one!

I like the whole rhythm of the last parts, the various would-be emails.  That's an interesting thought.  Sort of the email version of the old 6 (or 7, can't remember)  degrees of separation.
