- Go to Why Does It Hurt My Feelings When I See Women Used As Sex Objects?
mysteria
Male and female sexuality are diametrically opposite. The arousal, the feelings, the voyeuristic tendencies are all different. Nature has designed it to be so. There is a deep relationship in the work of creation and annihilation, as also in the balancing act in nature. All this cannot be explained here in detail. But you'll be astounded to know the mystery, mysteria. Yes, the objectifying of female is bad. Females by nature are exhibisionists, and males, the voyeur. There also is a relationship between masochism and sadism. Sometime later, I'll give it in my post. Another surprising fact, you may want to know that females are, placed between Man and God.

Well this is something very tragic, and heart-breaking.
Anyone with a soft heart and thinking mind will feel the way as you feel.
The tragedy is that in this modern world most of us take women as sex dolls, just forgetting that she also has feelings of other nature, and plays so many other important roles in life. She is a wife, sister and above all mother, all so sweet and lovely relations. Yes sex is part of life, and an important one, but not to be treated like that. I respect you all WOMEN, and I salute you for your sacrifice you do in life. You are great. My apologies as representing male gender, if we have hurt you in anyway.

Because you want people to like you for you and not
what you look like I would guess. The world exploits women through various means to make money. The problem is that men AND other women don't know the difference between fact and fiction. Men start to think women should all loook like super models and dress like whores. Other women think low of women who don't conform to these standards. It really is sad and I feel the same. You just have to fight these things and be the best you can be and never let anyone keep you down.

It is completely okay to feel that way...
It is completely okay to feel that way...I often feel that way to because women nowadays are objectified as sexual human beings that are provacative and are supposed to be sexy..I think that women should not be judged on how sexy they are but how smart and sweet they are..Because bodies go away eventually...So don't think your weird or anything because you could be sensitive more than others to that type of material..It is degrading and annoying..

Is it the degradation of the human spirit that bothers you?
It bothers me.

Are old women objectified as worn out junk? If so, we don't have much to look forward to. It makes me sad when women cooperate with their own humiliation.

Probably because you are a woman, Mysteria, and by association,
objectifying nude women de-sensitizes the public to accept the disintegrating standards of how it's okay to treat all women. I find Brittany Spears appalling, just as looking at pre-teen girls trying to emulate her is, we're slipping backwards, imho.
Don't get me wrong, my personal opinion is that men objectify women, they just do. The male sex drive is so hard wired to think of women in terms of sex (and I am not saying that that is necessarily a bad thing), that it's part of biology. Not that women don't think of sex, but just different.
For example, Playgirl bombed. They could not sell a nudie magazine to women. Why? Because the majority of women I know need a little something more than looking at a naked man to get aroused. something like a story line as opposed to T & A. Not all guys are crude, I mean, but from what I hear, if a guy tells you that he never looks at porn, he's lying.

The world is still pretty much run by men.
That's why you see this sort of thing used so commonly in the advertising industry. Put a scantily clad beautiful girl in the photo and it sells your product.
That's all anyone cares about...selling their product.
Another reason why I believe we should elect a woman president in '08. Men have almost run our country into the ground. We need a woman to get things straightened out.
