teen age boys are sometimes obnoxious
to cover up how they really feel. Like 4th graders, they just have too much machismo in their makeup. They want to be one of the guys, and not "whipped" so they do stupid things around girls they like. And, even though this may be true, she should do what he said. Just don't talk to the simp at all.

I think the boys also learn when some girls tell 'em where to shove it...
Tell her if you give them an inch they'll take a yard...so start out well...

Maggie
Grandparents always get extra respectful treatment because the kids want to LIVE. If Pam was ever disrespectful to her grandparents I'd have her head on a platter and she knows it!

I suspect that's up to their parents to teach them better. They can't go away, though, bel. My grandsons are close to becoming teens. lol They are fine boys. My granddaughters are a bit mouthy though. I love them all. They are not that way with me.

in all the years I courted Liz and in all the years we've been married...
I have never told her to shut up, or vice versa...how times have changed..

No kidding Blanche!
Believe me Pam is ANYTHING but a doormat. I can't think of one time in 10 years that Carl has ever told me to shut up. It just stuns me.

Bel, with her Daddy being a soldier, it wouldn't be so unlikely for her to
have crushes on them. I'm glad you've taught her not to tbe a doormat, lol, cause there is probably nothing more cocky and rude than your average teenage boy. Funny how life tends to knock a little humility into us as we get older.

I never said I like it either Blanche!
It's very strange to watch my daughter turn into this person that finds attraction for the opposite sex. I liked it much better when she had crushes on the soldiers!

Bel, nope, sorry you and Carl cannot get rid of all of Pam's potential
boyfriends, much as you might like to, lol. Why do I have the feeling that it's not just Carl who is having a problem with Pam not being a little girl anymore?
