So sorry Symphony for everything you are going through now all at once..

isn't life sometimes such a bitch.  And usually these things happen when you are feeling the worst and feel you cannot handle it all at once.  But hopefully things will get better for you... usually you get a bad patch before a very good patch.  So hope your good patch is coming soon!

Good Days and Bad Days.

Dear Symphony... Yes, I have also those days, when everything seems to be wrong. They usually come by pair. At home it is only me and my wife (no kids) so when I feel that it is going to be a bad day, I put off everything I should do and will not go out of the day.

It is like our white appliances like microwave, fridge, VCR,  etc. When one breaks down another will  surely follow. This is what I do. COMMON SCENARIO;

My wife screams: 'The microwave does not work!'

I reply:  Stop what you are doing and sit down. I do not look at the microwave but gets a small plastic plate and put food on it like biscuits, a few spoonful of rice and snacks. I go to the backyard and offer the plate to the nature. I go to the microwave and checks it. Usually the thing will work and it stops the curse of the "Come by pair".

I have concluded the 'The Broken Rose Painting.' Sadly to say it may be my last post.

I will miss all of you..... regards... Prof

SYMPHONY...

Hi Symphony...
Hope you're feeling a little better today with all the lovely comments from people here. I know it's not much, but sometimes to vent is better than to bottle it all up. Then even if it all still sucks, you've shared the burden/pain with others!!!! Which lightens your load a little. Take care.

Major type-o!

So sorry about that, I knew at the moment I hit the add key.

I do wish you a better day, than yesterday, and a better day tomorrow.

OMG,. Symphony, first your dog, then your Mum's car. I hope that's it.
Cause it's bad enough.  Can you get a break?  I know that rear-end accidents are difficult to prove that the car in front was at fault, but maybe it's worth talking to an insurance adjustor anyway.  Anyway, your poor Mum and you have  had a week from hell.

Symphony ...
I'm so sorry to hear about these terrible turns of events in your life.  I've always believed that things happen for a reason, even if we don't understand what the reasoning may be.  The silver lining in the dark clouds will shine through eventually.  Things will get better.

Symphony, things will get better
I was sitting in one of our study lounges when I noticed a gathering of people around one of the windows.  One of them brought in a cake and eventually more people streamed in, until I thought they were celebrating someone's birthday.  Then one of my friends came over from the party and told me that tonight is the night when the moon is the brightest it will ever be, and that they are celebrating an Asian tradition, which calls for everyone to eat Moon Cake.

It just struck me that, to many people, full moons indicate flux, they make things and people go crazy.  But in that room, to those people, it carried something of hope in it.  We may not be able to predict the future, but hope can make it better when everything seems to be going wrong.  I hope you feel better tomorrow

I hope everything gets better for you from now on, even though
the best thing anyone can do is simply hope. That's quite depressing, but I wish you the best no matter what.

Dear Symphony,
Yes, unfortunately it can always get worse. It sounds like a good idea that you stay home from work tonight and just snuggle in and take care of YOU.

Thanks so much Justi .....I am very hurt over that.....
But more angry that anything.....how could they do that?.....they say that they treat dogs just like humans when it comes to their care and so on (at the vets) they give me a booklet all about the cremation for me to attend to, but nobody bothered to ring me ....and when I ring them it has already been done!....I told the vet that I wanted her ashes......argh!

I am sorry darling. When it rains it pours. Usually things bad happen in threes. You have had your three you have to be on an up swing. I love you and hope things get better soon. These will hurt for some time, those people were callous.

Oh, Symphony, I'm so sorry for your troubles.  Sorry you lost your dog (my grandchildren lost their's this past Monday too).  I'm glad you were not hurt more seriously than you were.  Yes, you had a bad week, but things will get better, you'll see.

Your bruises will heal. And I hope the pain will go away.

Ooooh Symphony, that is so the pits.
I am sorry about your troubles.  I was in a similar car accident many years ago.  I rear ended someone because I was rearended, but somehow it was my fault.  Urrrrgh.  Hang in there.

Oh Symphony....
..I'm so sorry to hear of your week...your day.    What an awful lot of stuff to have to deal with.  I hope you are okay with your injuries..did you have them looked at??  And yes, you should have been wearing a seatbelt but that's after the fact..you have to make sure your injuries are not going to linger...neck pain does that sometimes.  Please have them looked at.  And here's a cyber hug   You sure need one.

This is awful
The ashes should have been kept and it really angers one when specific instructions are not followed. As for the car, this could not have happened at a worse time. Your poor Mum. I never have fully understood that law either! Peace be with you and rest well tonight if you can

mention how you're feeling...it is a full moon, maybe that explains some of it?
