I hardly ever curse but my 20 year feels free to curse in front of me and I hate that "F" word

Actually, nothing much shocks me anymore. I'm essentially a kid myself, pretending to be an adult! But what does shock me a little bit is that parents and kids will cuss a lot in front of each other, treating that as completely normal. I'd never curse in front of my own parents!

yes I think that is why kids cuss so much these days, by example

I swear alot less than I used to now that I have my own kids...

I do not want to be a bad example like the way I grew up.  My stepmom used to swear all the time.  She was terrible and obviously I picked it up very easily and was swearing really badly.

swear words don't offend me - bad english does
here in pittsburgh there are so many strange words like "youns" for you; "warsh" for wash; "gum band" for rubber band; "black and blue mark" for bruise.  i had to change the way i talked when i moved to florida to go to college because no one understood what i was saying.

Yes it is offensive. More it is sad. Small vocabulary obviously. No I do not use such language. Good post.
