It wasn't Alec Baldwin in the Buddhist chatroom Melody? Or was it? Hmmm. Something to ponder.

Rob, she's just too sweet and good to be true.
All of a sudden I have the urge to sing "Born Free."  I like the buddhist mentality too.  Did I mention to you that I met the most interesting and wonderful person ever in the Buddhist Chatroom?   And that person is not even a buddhist!    Guess who?  Melody

If I weren't Lutheran I could easily be a buddhist.  But I live in Minnesota, the "Lutheran Vatican".

robdon
A marvelous example of practical compassion, heightened more by the fact that the Thai girl with a meagre income did an act in kindness without expectation of reward, except that to her own in her delight in Freedom.

Rob,

I like Buddhists, too...My son is a Lutheran, but he also practises some Buddhist laws.  He doesn't eat meat and he has an alter in his house for the prayer burning ritual.  It's humbling to know there are still people in this world with such compassion.

How are ya, peachy?...
