good luck with the book, and have fun being busy. Pass the crown to Ari, shes learned long ago how to be comfortable with it. Too much responsibility to show up create and entertain. Not for this chickie

How do I get a job like yours?
I really love the one I have now, but yours does sound like fun!  As for the crown; I don't have the time anymore LOL!

Bye bye, QuirkyQueen. Your reign has been full of peace and prosperity.

We hope you will not stray too far from the walls of Blogit Castle.

Hope to see you popping your honoured head around the door once in a while.

Love Pleb DottyDave.

Julia., What! You're abandoning the prestige, the power, and the pomp

of the Blogit royalty for tawdry, mercenary reasons?!  Good for you!  I wouldn't be so quick to abdicate the throne, though: you may find yourself voted in, in absentia, as it were, to prevent pretenders, the lesser mortals and the hoi polloi from demeaning the sanctum.

You know, we do that, we riff-raff and hoi-poloi.  Have fun with the Furbys.

TAPS doesn't like anything on her head except hair, and nothing on her feet if the temperature is above 50o.

terpgirl--
yes, for this client I write the copy in the toy catalogs (print versions-- altho they do use some of my copy for their online catalogs). Feel free to email me anytime.

Julia, don't want the crown.

But I would like to speak to you about the catalogue stuff.  I know you are a marketing writer.  One of the guys in my old writing group used to do copy for catalogues.  Is that what you do, or do are you doing press releases on the items. (I come from a nonfiction magazine background, have a book series in the work which is more an adjunct, and my writing group sort of retired. I'm looking to make contact with people who write for a living.  I work with new people all the time, but I need to gather up a group who is at the same experience level as myself just to bounce ideas and the like.

Okay, that and I'm nosy. :)

Kim

I'll write you offline regarding this stuff from now on if it's okay with you.

Keep the crown, keep the crown.....or else it will rust and become brown!

I've never been very interested in wearing the "crown"...
Good thing, lol. Though trying it on might be fun...:)
Hope everything goes smoothly and isn't too taxing Julia.

Julia, Blanche might be next or maybe TAPS? As for me, I only wanted
it when it came with a $100 challenge from Blogit!  That was fun!
