Dandell, I'm really not too sure!

Spitfire..

Would 'son of a biscuit eater' mean offspring of a rather portly man???

---Just making it up as I go....like usual!

Do it, Dandell!
I'd be curious to see the results! BTW, I still have never figured out what "son of a buscuit eater" meant!

I've just GOT to do a blog poll on that one...your answers cracked me up!

LOL Dandell!! Yes, I have and sometimes still do!
Like, instead of saying Mother Fucker, I'll replace it with Mother Father. Sometimes, I've said God Bless America instead of the dreaded "God Damnit" Oh, my grandpa used to say, "Son of a biscuit eater!" What the hell does that mean? hehe

When you were younger, did you ever say words that sounded like potty mouth words, but weren't, like, 'shift' or 'HooverDam-it'? Coming from a strict upbringing, we got very creative...

I guess, Alf, BUT....

They do have to pay the programmers and creators. That has got to be more moolah. If they pay an actor, they don't have to pay SSI, workman's comp (except temp comp) etc. I think it would be much cheaper, less time consuming, and LESS CREEPY! hehe Oh, and BTW, yeah, I remember that rat of a mascot Quizno's had. I complained every time they came on TV. Eeeew. I mean, what were they thinking? Do potential customers really want to associate an icky, mangled-toothed rodent associated with FOOD?  Good Lord! Blach!

Remember the spongemonkeys from quiznos?  They cracked me up!!  They disturbed alot of people though.  I think it may actually be cheaper these days to use animation...not only do you not have to pay wages, you have no workmans comp., SSI, Fica, or employment insurance to pay.  The animation is probably done with software that is a big investment initially...so they have to use it to make it pay for itself.  These are crazy times.....

Spitfire, pretty soon, all of the human race will be looking like that.

I know, Mason, but isn't it more expensive
to hire and pay a whole crew to create such commercials? Dang. Just seems not only annoying but a pure waste of time and money!

My gut is the motivation is that LIVING PEOPLE
require salaries.  Their counterparts may be cheaper, but they sure are creepier.

I do like the Bee with the allergies though.

The techno-corporate-carpetbagger-admonsters won't be happy until
technology makes the movie SIMONE a reality... and actors are no longer needed ...and are simply programed in and enhanced by computer.... spooky, huh...

Yes, Blackcat, and thank you so much for reminding me.
I'm still having nightmares. Yeah, it's weird. I had a dream that I was on the opposing team of the BK and as I was running toward him, I had a pocket knife ready to rock. Just as I was about 4 feet from approaching him and seconds away from my successful kill, the Quaker Oats man and the rubber Duracell Battery family intercepted and tackled me. Damn.

YES, Sir Strat!!!!! THAT'S IT!!
We could not only end the war like, 1,000 years earlier than it will end, but we could also end much of the creepiness in the U.S.!! You're a freakin' genius!

Hmm, interesting, Taps. Me in a commercial. But,
the question I have is what product do you think I could best represent?

have you seen the BK playing football yet? hahhhaa

posted by -blackcat on September 29, 2006 at 12:22 PM | link to this | reply

I suppose we could start a Jihad.
We could tell the terrorist nutbags over there that, say, the Burger King guy, the Quaker Oats guy, and all these other freakshow things are real, and they're running around talking shit about Mohammed.

Fires
I am completely behind you on this.  I believe they are adds for an investment company - one I would never trust my money with now.

When I see some cartoon-like thing talking to me as if it were giving me legitmate advice, I want to beat somebody up.

I'd follow the advice of Homer Simpson before listening to that freakshow commercial.

Now you've got the dog growling :).

Spitfire, I think they should use you in some commercial.  You would get people's attention fast.  LOL

We get all that over here too. It is a bit unnerving. Particularly when you

find yourself thinking: Hey, she's not bad looking!

Oh dear.
