very interesting! Never heard of it, but why shouldn't it work for animals if it works for humans?

Our cat is just a bundle of sheer bliss when we rub her tummy...

When you decide to move up to humans let me know...my back needs attention! LOL

I do think there is something to what your doing, if it's good for humans why not animals, they are more sensitive than we are!!

if I give either of our cats a tummy rub, and stop too quickly, they will
reach out to grab my hand (no claws out) as if to say, "hey, don't stop".....
