Steve was a man among men...we lost a treasure
when we lost Steve Irwin.  Too bad too, we need men like him in this whacked out world.  Why is it that it is always the good ones that go...?

Good fathers are so, so important, and good mothers too
I am a teacher and have to deal with the results of poor parenting on a daily basis.  It breaks my heart.  Love your kids everyone--give them lots of love, hugs, and tell them every day you love them.  They need to HEAR it.  Parenting is hard, damn hard, but worth it.  Parenting requires giving, and giving when you think you can't.  It requires not being selfish, difficult in this me generation.

offbeats.... I know, isn't that little girl just beautiful? The way she
speaks... so grown up and at the same time.... daddy's little girl.   so heartbreaking...

Shellyb - I say the same thing. Men can't keep their parts where they
belong, and then when responsibility arrives - "POOF" .... vanishing act.  Or worse, they stay and make everyone miserable.

Kiddo,

Like you, I'm angry that Steve had to leave us all so soon...Especially his family.  If you have a chance, please read the post I wrote a couple of weeks ago, THE END OF A SOUL'S JOURNEY.  I think it might help you.

Be at peace, my friend...

I miss that man so much...he had a natural high to die for ( no pun). When I saw Bendi speak it brought tears to my eyes...she was so grown up and yet such a little girl...and Steve was in the hearts of millions..

I feel sorry for Terri and the kids....I'm sure Steve's legacy

(career and love) with live on...

As for the rest of those sorry a*** guys, if they didn't want to love and care for their kids then they shouldn't of had them in the first place!!   They need to keep their d*** in their pants!
