thats a good story. I think sometimes my daughter is somewhat psychic as she tells me things that I am surprised about
but then again she didnt see that motorcycle cop who gave her a speeding ticket

I never believed in them.
I absolutely believe in Sylvia, however. When I wrote for law enforcement, I asked about the psychics they had to deal with. Many blew them off, but many detectives had a go-to person. The more I watched and read, the more I came to the conclusion that the "real" gifted people generally aren't happy about having this gift. It's just something that's there. They don't seek fame and fortune.
Sylvia Brown is certainly famous, but if you look at her past and how it came about, much of it was inadvertant.
A reporter friend of mine had an interview with a local woman. The reporter had suffered a traumatic event decades before. The psychic went into detail about the event. It was a personal thing that happened in the woman's home. There was no way for her to know. My friend is a serious reporter and just doesn't buy this stuff. She was pretty taken aback.
I followed up with a meeting to see what had caught my friend so off guard. I had just divorced and was dating a few people. She listed the people by occupation, in order or more less. I can't figure it out.

I have talked with many gifted people.
I really don't know much about her, but I know in the psychic community, there are a lot of people who see her as a very bad example. She is after money and fame, which is not what truely gifted people are about.
If you're really interested, I can read your cards. I've been told that I'm quite accurate.

I don't think all are legit but I do believe in it. I think that most everyone could be if they just knew how. I personally think its just learning to use more of your brain power then most people do. For some its natural, others its not and you have to work at it if you want it.

what i have experienced
tested one once.
sat back, said nothing, she came up with some pretty accurate statements.
keep talking about the time she said the pipes would freeze where i lived.
where i lived was a pretty poor place, so the pipes could very well freeze.
i moved to a better place where that wouldn't happen
i happened to stay the night downstairs and the back door was accidentally left ajar enough that the wind blew it open. it was a cold night. the pipes froze. but didn't break -- took a bit but the water started flowing into the bathtub again.
that's good enough for me.
