Dave, keep procrastinating?
What if I decide to put that off as well?  What does it mean when you say you'll procrastinate later.

Thanks ginnie. Yeah, I did bad when I had all the time in the world
to concentrate on school.  Now I don't have the time and I'm doing well.

I went back to college when I was 31...
..my youngest of three kids was two and I took her with me. The experience I had while there differed completely from my first try at college when I was 18. I was a straight A student the second time around..overloaded, overworked, but loving it all. Good for you Success..stressful at times but you're doing it!!

Talion, I'm no where near the guy I was 20 years ago

I don't know if I would even recognize me if I walked up the sidewalk.

I'm not competing against him.  I'm competing against the guy in the future.  The guy 20 years down the road.  He's a tough competitor.  He's been a SuccessWarrior for 20+ years.  =)

Maybe the novelty of getting back to school is wearing off. Maybe you didn't like the idea of depending on a classmate to finish the assignment, especially since this guy isn't as "on top of things" as you usually are. However, I think there's something else eating at you. Forgive me if I'm way off the mark, but here goes.

You know, getting the job done is all you need to prove you can get the job done. You're not the same guy you were 20 years ago in college. Maybe you should stop competing against him.

I was never a good student.

I got good grades in foreign languages and math because I enjoyed them.  I did terrible in English and History.

My first semester back I had English, History, and Physics.  Now I'm taking English and History again.  And doing well in them.  Odd.

I wish I had a buck for everytime I did stuff I really didn't want to do

And then beat myself up for it later. It's a "human condition"--

I love school too....I enjoy learning new things. I was always a good student who made good grades.
