Democracy is the culprit in all this.
The less tolerant theocratic countries and their emigrants to the west simply don't understand the dilemmas of democracy, and so they don't obey them. But we are still trying to obey them, and so it's not a level playing field. We allow them to say things we don't agree with, and in return, they don't allow us to say things they don't agree with, but we feel bound to accept that what they say is legitimate and feel bound to take it into consideration. By 'we' i'm not talking about any particular race, but the post-Enlightenment democracies, a western socio-political heritage. This heritage is now inadequate to deal with this problem. I'm not however an advocate of invading non-democracies. let everyone develop in their own way, but make sure we do whatever is necessary to defend our way ON HOME SOIL, i.e. in the West and western-influenced countries such as Japan.

I've always maintained that the little rat infested countries
these people tend to scruffle around in have nothing of interest to me. Therefore, we should just send out an ultimatum -- all of you who want to live in the real world get out and the rest of you nut jobs who want to meet Allah stay there, and we'll send you to your 72 virgins. Then we turn the whole place into a giant sheet of glass and be done with 'em.
