i have to amend what i said about christians
those loudest voices i have read -- that's what i mean -- they aren't representative of the whole of Christianity.

you can't listen to so few voices

and assume that they have so much power

look at the Christians here who shout the loudest and ask yourself if they represent the whole of Christianity.  Those i have read are far from representative.

so is it with the loudest in the Moslem world.

to reduce terrorism, as I have said quite a few times now, the U.S. government had to admit to its past obscene actions against the third world countries involved, and make efforts to reverse the effects of such, then publicly announce this.

then announce a peaceful relationship with these -- and require the same in return

in order to have peace, one must make peace.

both sides must be willing so to do.

Sannhet, that's a good question but I would have to say for me,
the answer is no.  Like I mentioned there would be a large grey area and that would be the dangerous part morally.  For me, killing someone that has sworn to kill me and my family is self defense.  I don't think that's extreme at all.  Others will disagree and say that any killing or violence is extreme.  I met some of them when I was a cop and had to rescue them from predators.

Doesn't killing an extremist make one an extremist?

Tony, it would be the other way around
Cloudy countries would be invading the holy land of sunny countries.

No, I think we should all go back to sun worship.
Then we could be granted days off work, with pay, whenever it is sunny (OK, I live in Britain where it isn't hot and sunny as often as where some of you live), for religious reasons, so that we could bask in the holy solar beams on the beach, or a patch of grass in the middle of the city, or on our balcony. Peace would reign. Mind you, maybe then, sunny countries would feel that they could legitimately invade cloudy ones. Oh well, back to the drawing-board.
