you can get a small one for next to nothing.
TVs nowadays always cost more to repair than to buy another one (unless you have some gigantic plasma bigscreen thingy lol.)

all depends. if you feel prayer is necessary while you're cooking, by all
means, get another tv!  lol

Hi, Whacky,
I am at the point where I hardly watch TV at all, so my opinion would be have one TV limit, in a centrally located place.  Of course, I'm not among those who really love watching TV.  Good luck on that one.  Maybe the TV is just resting, not quite dead.  :)

The technology changes in them so rapidly that it is more cost efficient to buy a new one. Pity.

I don't know, Whacky.  I always turn my kitchen one on for company when I have to cook or clean there even when there is nothing good on--just habit you know.

Tv's must be like computers anymore...you take them out the store and they're already out of date...geez!

There used to be a tv in every room when we lived in California.

Then in Michigan I just decided one day that I didn't want a tv at all. The compromise was that they all went into one room to reside. We have a bungalow. I turned the upstairs room into the living room, the old living room into a dining room, and I can't remember the last time I saw tv. I don't go upstairs.

Long answer to a short question, yes, IMHO you can live long and prosper (I could not help myself lol) without a tv in the kitchen. But if this is not your opinion, you should go out and get a new one. Happy Tuesday!

Speaking as someone who hardly spends time in the kitchen,
I reckon you should be fine.
